Every October, we ask ourselves one question: how do we make the Hitching Post even more magical? This past Halloween, we think we finally nailed it — a skeleton horse on the roof, bats covering the trailer, cobwebs draping the sides, and a cocktail menu so spooky it deserved its own framed art on the bar.

The Mad Scientists Are In
This year, Lisa & Olivia traded their usual aprons for lab coats — because nothing says "trust me with your drink" quite like a wild white wig, round glasses, and a glowing green concoction in an Erlenmeyer flask. The "Future Mad Scientist Fund" tip jar on the bar? A personal touch that made everyone laugh.
The vibe inside the trailer was pure Halloween magic: a skeleton perched on a twisted black branch, a purple glitter candle flickering, "Baddest Witch on the Block" proudly displayed on the bar, and a bottle of something called Blood of the Undead keeping watch over it all.
The Boos & Booze Cocktail Menu
We don't just decorate — we theme the whole menu. This Halloween we served up three signature spooky sips:
- The Deathly Hallows — Tequila, Triple Sec, Cranberry Juice, Fresh Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup & Ginger Beer. Dangerously smooth.
- The Drunk Witch — Pineapple Juice, Cranberry, Ginger Ale, Grenadine & Blue Curaçao. Bright, bewitching, and gone before you knew it.
- Dansky's Diabolical Laboratory — Our mad-scientist special, served in a beaker with a striped straw. You had to see (and taste) it to believe it.
Every drink was handcrafted to order, using our house-made syrups and freshly pressed juices — because even on Halloween, we don't cut corners.
The Neighborhood Showed Up
It was one of those perfect fall nights — just cool enough for a costume, warm enough to linger outside with a cocktail. The line stretched down the driveway. Pirates, race car drivers, bees, and Hellfire Club members all gathered around the glowing trailer, drinks in hand, completely in their element.
This is exactly why we do what we do. There's something so special about a horse trailer pulling up to a neighborhood street and instantly becoming the heart of the party. No noise, no fuss — just beautiful cocktails and a whole lot of joy.
